New Info

Tickets for the AMP Energy NHL Winter Classic featuring the Penguins and Buffalo Sabres in an outdoor game in Buffalo are no longer available after about 41,000 tickets sold within 30 minutes this morning, according to Sabres spokesman Mike Gilbert.
The Buffalo Bills' Ralph Wilson Stadium, site of the Jan. 1 outdoor game, will seat a little less than 74,000 for the hockey game, but Gilbert said more than 30,000 seats are on hold for Sabres season ticket holders, Bills club seat members and for the NHL.
Those ticket holders can opt out, but If any of those seats become available for sale, it won't be for some time, Gilbert said.
Phone lines at the Sabres offices have been jammed all day. Gilbert said he was unaware of complaints by some Penguins fans that tickets were scooped up by scalpers because there was no limit on the number individuals could buy. They were sold online and at the stadium.
A check of online market eBay and StubHub at mid-day showed dozens of entries for tickets to the game, including one set of four seats listed for $1,799.

Lets hope they make some available to season ticket holders in Pittsburgh who were beat to the punch by season ticket holders in Toronto!!!! I think I am done posting today my head hurts from tryin to figure out how/why the NHL/Ticketmaster operate together
